2018 Gaiero OMC
THE OM THAT STARTED IT ALL FOR ME
This guitar is the very first iteration of my OM model, the prototype that shaped the design and voicing I’ve continued to refine ever since. It’s the first guitar I fully designed and built in Ervin Somogyi's workshop during my apprenticeship in Oakland, CA. It also features the first example of my micro-mosaic tile rosette.
The voice of the guitar is balanced and articulate, everything you hope for in a responsive OM, and it feels great in the hands.
The guitar is pre-owned. It has been gently played and remains in excellent condition, with the usual signs of life expected from a seven-year-old instrument. As a one-of-a-kind prototype, it carries both the character and the craftsmanship that laid the foundation for all my instruments to come. It represents a true milestone in my journey as a guitar builder.
